From Manuscript to Published Book

Book design, formatting, publishing support, and promotional materials for a professional, finished book.

Over 20 years of experience in book design, publishing visuals, and author presentation.

Books for Authors, Experts, and Personal Stories

I help authors, experts, and people with personal book projects turn their manuscript into a finished book that is professionally designed and prepared for publication.

Depending on the project, this can include cover design, interior formatting, publishing support, Amazon presentation, launch visuals, and coordination with a trusted editor.

The goal is to make the process easier and keep the book, visuals, and publication materials working together from the start.

From Book Plan to Finished Book

A book project usually involves more than a cover. It may need formatting, print files, publishing setup, launch visuals, a website, or help coordinating the next steps.

I help bring these parts together so the book does not feel like a collection of separate pieces.

The cover, interior, online presentation, and promotional materials can all follow the same visual direction and support the same message.

When editing is needed, I can also coordinate with a trusted editor, so the manuscript, design, and publishing preparation stay connected as the book develops.

This helps the whole project move more smoothly, with a finished book that is professionally prepared for publication.

Who This Is For

This process is best for authors who want more than a quick cover or a basic file setup. It is for people who want their book handled with care, good design judgment and steady support from manuscript to finished book.

This is a good fit for:

✓ Authors with a manuscript, message, memoir, or personal story they want to turn into a finished book
✓ Founders, consultants, professionals and experts creating a book connected to their work or reputation
✓ Legacy and family-history clients who need a more personal and carefully paced process
✓ Authors who want support with design, formatting, publishing preparation and presentation materials
✓ People who prefer one guided process instead of coordinating several separate services on their own

This is not for

✓ Authors looking for the lowest-cost route to publication
✓ Projects that are rushed or need a full book completed very quickly
✓ Clients who prefer to manage every technical and design detail themselves
✓ Authors focused mainly on fast publishing tactics, quick Amazon results, or high-volume publishing

TESTIMONIALS

Truly, truly amazing working with Nada on my book cover! This is the second book she’s completed for me, and the experience was identically effortless and amazing. Not only does she possess incredible artistic talent and industry knowledge of trends and sound design principles, but she also is very welcoming of feedback, allows for revisions, and is always timely, polite, and honestly just a pleasure to work with. I’ll be returning to her for all my future books!

Nada is an outstanding designer and consummate professional. She guides you through the entire process of developing a professional looking, original book cover design and assembles all the essential elements that it’s comprised of. She spends time understanding your brief and through a unique dialogue refined it until it not only meets your original requirements but delights you as well. And who doesn’t want to be delighted by a design? Isn’t that what art is all about?

Glenn Leibowitz, Senior Marketing Strategist at McKinsey

Nada is excellent. We will use her services again, as she brings not only professionalism and creative talent to a project, but her work far exceeds others in the design field (and I say that as a person that has worked in this field for 30 years).!

Meet Nada Orlić
the Designer Behind Erelis Design

nada-orlic

I am Nada Orlic, the creative director behind Erelis Design, a boutique studio for bespoke book development.

With over 20 years of experience designing books for authors around the world, I now help guide projects from manuscript to finished edition through design, formatting, editorial coordination, and publishing guidance. My approach is personal, thoughtful, and carefully managed, bringing the visual and practical sides of the process together in a more coherent way.

I work especially well with legacy books, expert-led projects, and private editions that carry personal or professional significance. Whether the goal is to preserve a meaningful story or shape a polished book around your ideas and experience, I aim to create something distinctive, well-made, and true to the substance of the work.

When I am not working, you can usually find me with a novel in hand, a sketchbook nearby, or out in nature looking for quiet beauty and detail.
